Interview with Renee Linnell-author of new book The Burn Zone, A Memoir.
Why is it that many people in this world feel so lonely? Might it be because they are living a facade of “who they think they are supposed to be?” Is it any wonder that if and when we encounter someone who seems to really see us and understand us that we would be attracted like the moth to the flame?
Renee Linnell graduated magna cum laude with a double degree, traveled to nearly fifty countries alone before she turned 35. She was a surf model and a professional Tango dancer. She started 5 different companies and got an MBA from New Your University. How does someone like her end up brainwashed in a cult?
Renee’s message is that we need to see the value in being different. As Renee reminds us Theodor Seuss Geisel (Dr. Seuss) said, “Why blend in when you were born to stand out?” She believes there is not enough messaging out there; she believes “our difference is our destiny, and that when we stop trying to hide the parts of us that make us different, we will truly soar.!”
